The Indian Ministry for Petroleum and Natural Gas has awarded ICF International a $US920,000 contract to prepare a conceptual study of a national natural gas pipeline grid for the country.
ICF will work with subcontractor Jacobs Consultancy to examine four major areas of the proposed grid: system design, system construction, operations management and gas transactions.
“Natural gas continues to grow in importance to the Indian economy,” said ICF Managing Director Bishal Thapa.
